Mars
Mars
Mars is a credit protocol for the future: decentralized, self-sovereign, inter-chain, non-custodial, open-sourced, transparent, algorithmic, and community-governed.

Like existing credit protocols, Mars facilitates overcollateralized loans with a two-slope interest rate model (similar to Aave or Compound). In addition, Mars brings outstanding improvements in Contract-to-Contract (C2C) lending, allowing for smart contracts that are whitelisted to borrow assets from Mars liquidity pools without posting collateral. These credit lines power Mars’ credit accounts, giving end users access to leverage when interacting with core DeFi primitives.

*Quick Stake will automatically choose a validator on your behalf that’s outside of the top third of validators by voting power to maximize decentralization. All Quick Stake validators charge 5% or less commissions, have not been slashed recently and are in the recent validator set. If you’d like to manually select a specific validator, choose the Manual Stake option on Station’s Stake page.
